Reyna Trevino, born and raised in Los Angeles, California - envisioned herself working in the entertainment industry. But what Reyna soon found out was that there were very few Entertainment Industry Latinas who were in executive positions to serve as role models.

Reyna chose to plot her course in education at California State University Northridge where she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and worked on various independent contracts in event production and promotion. Reyna’s hard work and perseverance withstood the tedious steps of success and made an impression upon very key individuals who would help launch Reyna’s career in Public Relations.

While Reyna was achieving academic success as a student she was approached in 1997 by the General Manager of RMM Records / Universal and offered the position of west coast publicist. She accepted the position as an opportunity to advance herself as a young Latina and to expand her possibilities in the Entertainment Industry. She quickly found her niche when she began marketing her new Latin talent to her mainstream media contacts.

Reyna helped fuel a new phenomenon in booking Latino talent on mainstream television talk shows. She had measured success in booking her talent on such as the late night TV show VIBE hosted by SINBAD. She also moved quickly to capitalize her business contacts to benefit from the new mainstream appreciation of Latino talent by motivating show producers to dedicate an episode to the opening of The Conga Room in Los Angeles, CA.

Reyna’s success was so impressive, she was soon approached by Latin recording artist India (The Princess of Salsa) and encouraged to open up her own publicity company with the understanding that she would be Reyna’s first client. Tito Nieves, the late Tito Puente, and Boyz II Men followed shortly thereafter in signing with Reyna’s new company Trevino Enterprises; allowing Reyna to live her dream and realize her goal.

Reyna has attained her clients by word of mouth and her company continues to grow. Trevino Enterprises succeeds in providing marketing, publicity, event and talent coordinating services in the Urban, Mainstream, and Latin Market.
